The first known resume was written by in Leonardo Davinci 1481 to the Duke of Milan in the form of a letter to describe his experience in liberal arts and his vision for Milan. Since then, there has been little innovation to identify potential prospects for employees. As we navigate through the ever-growing complexities of this digital age the question becomes “Why has no one innovated on helping employers find candidates that fit their business structure?”. These days, a candidate can pay just $20 to have their resumes reformatted to pass through all of the resume filtering systems. Half the resumes that have hit my desk over the past few years have just been doctored up buzzwords that do not really match the person who submits it.
